Booking Info

Can customers pick up and return rentals themselves?

Unfortunately, we do not allow customers to pick up or return any of our marquee letters.

Do you do events outside of the Vancouver Lower Mainland?

Yes, we are able to offer our services outside of the Vancouver Lower Mainland. However, additional travel fees will be applied for events further than 90km roundtrip from Cloverdale.

What is required to confirm my booking?

A signed contract and a 20% non-refundable retainer must be submitted in to confirm your booking. Then, the final balance is due 14 days before your event or the full payment is due at the time of booking if reservation is made within less than 14 days.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations are accepted 14 days before the event date for an 80% refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event date will only receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made 7 days before the reservation will not receive any refund.

Do you sell marquee letters?

We do not sell any marquee letters or any of our rental items. Also, we do not disclose any information on where to purchase them.

What are the dimensions of your rental items?

Please review guideline here. For the MARRY ME signs, it will depend on how spaced out the letters are but they will need at least the following space: 2ft - at least 14ft wide 4ft - at least 28ft wide 5ft - at least 35ft wide

Do you offer any additional services?

Yes, our sister company, Three Cheers Events, offers a 10% discount for their event packages if combined services with Vancity Letters. Also, we offer set or customized marriage proposal planning and coordination.

Do you have colour-changing light bulbs?

Yes, we can switch the light bulbs to colour-changing bulbs only on our 2ft and 4ft marquee letters at an additional cost.

Are your marquee letters okay to use outside?

Yes, you can set up our marquee letters outside in a covered or uncovered area, near a power source. If it starts to rain, you must unplug the letters to prevent damage to them.

What if there is no power source near by?

You can either provide us a generator to use or we can source out a generator to rent out for your event, however, you will need to cover the cost.

What are the rental fees?

The price will depend on:

  • Quantity of letters
  • Size of letters
  • Event location
  • Rental time
  • Pick up time
  • Set up details
    • is a ramp/elevator available if the event isn't taking place on the ground floor?
    • is there a loading dock?
    • will the signs be set up outside or inside?
    • will the signs be set up on a stage?

Do you have different coloured marquee letters?

Unfortunately, we only have white marquee letters that have colour-changing light bulbs.
